The MD Walkman MZ-E630 is a playback-only unit described as a simple stylish design with a high sound quality digital amplifier and ATRAC3 DSP TYPE-S support.
The MZ-E630 was a Japanese market exclusive made available in 4 “pop” colours: silver, blue, pink, green and 2 monotone colors: white and black.
While very similar to its predecessor the MZ-E620, it is slightly lighter with a more rounded design. The sides and under side panel are made from plastic with the lid made from lightweight aluminum. There is no on unit LCD display only a single red LED to indicate disc read.
The included accessories were a back-lit LCD stick remote, headphones (S, M and L tips inc.), charging stand, 100 – 240V AC power adapter, rechargeable battery and carry pouch.
